NOw it is easy to tell the seasons n the Iowa city area....we have pre-Spring break....post-spring break....pre-summer school....post-sumemr school....pre-fall semester....etc. What I am really saying here is you can always figure what time of year it is by all the refuse left all over the town in apartment dumpsters and even at curbs. Now this isn't all bad, we do get our town back for a short amount of time while the students flux from one time span to another but that is offset by all the trash they leave. Now if people who are moving would just think of recycling they could lessen the amount of waste at curbside. All it would take is a few containers and some labeling....label and sort as to glass (colors as well as clear), plastic, paper and carboard....then take a short drive to city recycling. IT is easy to pull up to a recycling container and drop of your stuff and you will feel so much better for it! check it out.........neatness and god for the environment too!
