The first time you go, give yourself a few hours. This place is huge. They have every type of produce you can imagine. I did not know there were that many varieties of mushrooms. The prices of produce are reasonable especially considering the variety that is at your fingertips. They have a huge prepared meal section - hot and cold. Perfect for those who hate to cook. I was very impressed with their teas selection, almost a whole aisle of just tea. They also have a few samples throughout the store to try some of there products. This is definitely a one stop shop for groceries and I wish they had one in Tampa.

If you are looking to eat some Mexican food while sitting on a deck listening to a live band then try banana joes and margarita mamas. This place is especially good for people watchers because you are sitting over the courtyard at Channelside. The bands tend to be pretty good -- mostly cover bands. The food is your average Mexican chain restaurant fair. They do have tons of different margaritas that are in slurpee like dispensers. Beware that occasionally they do have cover charges if you go after ten or eleven.

PF Changs is a chain but the food is amazing. The appetizers are particularly good. Try the lettuce wraps which I think are some of the best in town. If you order a bowl of soup it is big info to be a meal for two days at least. My favorite dish is the Sczhwan from the Sea calamari. It is spicy and perfectly cooked every time. For the health conscious their website has the nutritional information for each dish. The only drawback is that during peak times you may wait up to 1.5 hours to get a table.

This is a rowdier version of Pat O'briens piano bar. The restaurant is split into a supper club and a bar. The bar has dueling pianists that play hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's. The crowd sings along and requests songs(with a tip attached). It is alot of fun if you are with the right group of people. If you want a table you need to get there early as it does fill up. The also have bucket drinks which come with a bunch of colorful straws so you can share with your friends. Cover is $5.

The Channelside location of this coffee shop is charming. they have nice sofas that are great to relax on and read a book. The coffee is great. Lots of different flavors. One of my favorites is "sinful delight" which is a caramel-chocolate mix, I think. The coffee is definitely better than starbucks and the lattes are good too. Prices are comparable to Starbucks. It is nice to sit here on Friday/Saturday nights sipping you coffee and watching the people going out for the night.

I recently tried out the beauty school. I got the day of beauty which included a basic facial, maniucre, eyebrow waxing and haircut with blowdry for a bargain $29. Overall I was pleased with the services rendered. The facial was excellent and worth alot more than what I paid. The haircut went well but took too long. The whole thing took almost 4 hours. I was exhausted by the time I got home which almost defeats the purpose. If you try it I would reccommed going for just one service at a time because these are students and it will take time.

If you love tropical flavors you have to stop by this unassuming snack bar. They have flavors of ice cream that I have not seen in the united states before like chico, mamee etc. They also have mango and coconut. The prices are just right and the servings are large. You can get anything from a sundae to a milkshake. They also have great espresso. Come on Saturday night and get serenaded by the owner as a bonus treat to go with your treat.

The sushi is amazing, beautiful presentation, high quality of fish. The choices of rolls were unusual and somewhat tropical. They have rolls with mango anf kiwi on them which was suprisingly very good. The big down fall is the service. The waiter was not attentive and the food took forever to come out. We ended up canceling some of the the sushi towards the end of our 1.5 hour lunch because it still had not come out. So if you have a few hours and are not in a rush or starving this place is worth a try.

By far my favorite place to eat. The salad bar is enormous. They have everything from fresh ingridents to prepared salads. They even provide nutritional information. Then when you pay for your salad there is more waiting for you in the hot food section. Soups, potatos, pastas and breads. Then there is dessert. If you go at dinner there is a hot dessert item - the best is the chocolate lava cake. They also have ice cream and fruit. Guareenteed to be full when you leave.

Redskins fans congregate here every game. It is a great experience to watch the game amongst loyal fans. The service is suprisingly really good during the game and the food is pretty good, although there are not alot of healthy options. But I guess it is a sports bar. The bar reserves an area just for redskins fans, but I would still come early.
