I've been to this museum about a dozen times, and I honestly never know what to expect. From time to time, their exhibits amaze me. They're perfectly organized, well documented, and just plain fun to look at. But in between those rare occurances, it's a sea of mediocrity. I will admit, I'm no art fanatic, but I can enjoy a few hours wandering through a gallery. Sadly, the BAM rarely gives me this chance. If you go in expecting a huge place that will mesmerize you for hours, prepare to be disappointed, but if you have realistic expectations, you'll have fun.
