While the staff at Overlake Medical Clinic (Urgent Care) in Issaquah are some of the nicest people you may want to meet, one of their on-call doctors, Scott Fannin is not. He was terribly condescending and flippant, as if he didn't have the time to be bothered (when you're in pain, that is the last thing you need). But the cherry on top was when he prescribed a medication for me at the end of our appointment. When I asked if that might conflict with the other medication I was taking, he said, "Oh, I haven't looked at your chart." He then opened my chart, said, "huh, I'm not going to prescribe this to you then", and sent me out the door. Honestly, a doctor like that could be downright dangerous. Again, the staff was extremely kind, not sure how they ended up with this doctor.

Dr. Neiman is a doctor I would definitely recommend - I found him to be a sincere listener (rare these days); open to use of complementary/alternative medicine; plus he told me about some possible side effects of a medication I'd been prescribed by two other previous doctors, which side effects those doctors had never bothered to mention to me. He has also taken the time to personally call me back on a couple occasions over the past few years when I've had acute/unusual symptoms.
The drawback, unfortunately, is his staff, who have ranged from cold to downright unkind - I've never been treated this way at any other doctor's office before. Don't count on getting a call back, even if they say they will, and also, be cautious about having the staff draw your blood - I've walked away with signifcant bruising. After 20+ years of having blood drawn, I'm well aware that it isn't necessary to walk away with bruises like that. I've gone to local blood draw labs, many, many times, and not once have I walked away bruised.
