This is a place with a variety of things for both home and yourself. They have stuff like linens, pots, shoes, shampoo, and school supplies. They even have some furniture like bookshelves and tables. The prices are really good, you can alwasy get a deal. The major problem is the ailses are narrow and it is very crowded. The lines are long and there is hardly any place to stand!

This is a small museum inside Fort Tryon Park, it is associated with The Met but dedicated to medieval art. They have a wonderful courtyard and the exhibits are nice too. I especially like the tapestries. There is a suggested donation but you can pay what you wish. Go in October during the medieval festival and make a day out of it.

Surely this museum is small compared to the ones in Manhattan but it is the biggest in Brooklyn. It has about five floors of artwork. There is definately plenty to see. The Egyptian exhibition is nice, they even have a real mummy. The front of the museum was recently renovated. Every first Saturday of the month the museum is free in the evening and they have a bunch of activities.

This museum is huge! It has several floors of exhibits. You have your permanant exhibits like the dinosaur bones , mammals and ocean. Then you have constantly changing exhibits so there is always something new to see. You can come back time after time and still find something interesting here. The cafeteria is good also with a variety of food to choose from. You pay more if you get something in teh museum than if you went outside to eat.

The staff here is great. I have been taking my kids to get their eyes checked here for 2 years now. The doctors are friendly and joke around with the kids to make them feel at ease. The wait isnt long and it is never hard to get an appointment. Also they accept many insurances.
