I always feel badly giving someone a negative review and I want to temper my review of Randy by saying that I think he is personable but, I just feel like he did not really care about me or give me and my hair the attention I deserved. Three people have asked me about salons in the past few weeks as they are moving to the area. Another poster/reviewer contacted me as well, so I felt compelled to follow up my glowing initial report with the resulting review. It sounds like other clients are very happy with Randy's service and cuts, so I hope anyone reading reviews will carefully weigh them all to make a decision...one negative does not mean that the salon does not excel in other areas-And you can't help but like Randy, I just need more attention to the overall health and longevity of my hair.

I initially reviewed Randy positively but have since had a negative experience. I agree with last post that Randy is often distracted and flirting with other clients and random people who come into the salon instead of paying attention to what he is doing. He has even taken phone calls while actively doing my highlights-a big faux pas in this customer service industry....and basic home-training. My first two sets of highlights were lovely, but over time he showed blatant disregard for the condition and health of my hair. As a result I have spent the last nine months with a new stylist trying to undo what damage Randy did. I believe the stylist has a responsibility to tell the client that their hair cannot sustain the color/cut/treatment they are requesting if it means irrepairable damage. The culmination of his highlights over time, and how he applied them without giving consideration to the difference of the ends as compared to the scalp was unprofessional. I will not go back and will recommend my new stylist to my friends and clients as she is concerned about the health of my hair as well as the color. In the end that will make for a long-lived relationship between client and stylist...not a short fix like Randy offers.

I went to Euphorium years ago and not to Randy. Since then the stylist I used has moved on....but since I still had a gift certificate for Euphorium I thought I would try Randy out.
First, I was pleased that Euphorium would accept the certificate since it was from 2006. That is the beauty of a locally, continuously owned business.
Randy was running late, as I noticed that other people had commented about. We sat and chatted about my "hair history" for quite a while before he actually looked like he may cut it. He was not in a hurry at all....feeling no rush from being behind schedule.
In the end I was very pleased with the cut, the time he spent with me, his friendly manner, and he is not too hard on the eyes either.
I have scheduled a color and highlight appointment with him....
