This gift store is located within a Japanese supermarket (I forget the name) on Western Ave, close to the Carson and Torrance border line. They sell tons of different things: toys, t-shirts, lighters, posters, wall scrolls, stationary, pens, and more. It's a cool place to get a nice little present for someone. Prices can be a little high but where else can you find some of the stuff they have?

This Japanese-themed gift store has a lot of cool little items you wouldn't normally find in a supermarket or shopping mall. A lot of their wares come straight from Japan so you can get your anime-licensed product fix over here. The service is so-so, the selection is decent, and the place is conveniently located next to the AMC 20 in Rolling Hills plaza.

A rarity in this day and age--a novelty store. It's really big and conveniently located at the Del Amo Fashion center in Torrance. There's a wide selection of t-shirts, the 'flavor of the month' pop culture item (i.e. Star Wars, Batman or Fantastic Four) and funny novelty items you can't find anywhere else. The workers here pester you but it's a good pestering--they're doing their job. Their items tend to be a little overpriced however.

The selection, like most small video stores, is tiny compared to a Blockbuster. There is a great selection of Filipino movies for those interested.

I used to frequent this store nearly once a week when I was younger. The workers here a nice and respectful. The selection compared to a bigger, national chain isn't comparable. However, you can get the usual popular blockbusters and Hollywood hits here for a day rental for about a buck or two. No need to pay more for a week rental.

The people who work here are ornery and sometimes seem annoyed to help you. It's a pretty big comic shop but there's nothing special about their prices. Normal, decent selection. Nothing special but you'd be hard pressed to find something--especially in Carson.

For the most part this store has replaced the original one (located in West Torrance on Anza Ave.) as the main card place to frequent. There are weekly tournaments here for REAL, tangible prizes. The prices on their items are unmatchable unless you find a real bargain online or at a warehouse. Highly recommended, especially for parents who need to get their kids their weekly Yu-gi-oh fix =).

I've been a frequenter of hobby shops and card stores for a long time--this is the best, family friendly store I've been to. Their selection is updated, kept in stock and always sold at the cheapest prices around if you're willing to check other retail stores in the area. Also a great place to meet new people and practice your card playing skills. If you're tired of getting ripped off, go here. The owner and workers here are great.

I've been going to this family fun center for almost 10 years now and it hasn't changed much. Which means that it's a decent place to bring the kids. There's two different miniature golf courses, go-karts, an arcade and lazer-tag. The place does well to accomodate birthday parties. The place does get pretty crowded during the weekends and summer. The food is decent. Not the greatest place in the world but you can do much worse.
