I attended a friend's wedding at the Carnelian on the 52 nd floor. There were about 200 people there and I think the room fit pretty nicely. It was a "rounded room" so at times it was hard to see the bride and groom because of the pillars. The head table was situated in front of a "wine cellar" so I thought that was nice. Th efood was goos and the view of San Francisco at night form the tall glass windows were nice. Overall, I had a great time.

This twenty nine year old family business has alays been a charming addition to the West Portal Community. Searving brunch on the weekends and lunch and dinner daily, this restuarant always uses the freshest of ingedients, especially the produce. My favorite dish is Eggs Benedict. The chef creates the hollindase sause from scratch. And what I also love about this restaurant is how they celebrate certain holidays. I took my mom here for bunch on Mother's day and they traeted her like a queen with flowers and gifts. Its a really homey environment. But I just noticed a few weeks ago that the owners are going to sell the business. I hope it will stay the same.

I visited Dr Burns recently for an ankle problem. He is a very knowledgable doctor and was able to figure out my problem quickly. He told me what to do and everything worked out fine. I was a little intimindated by him because he was really quiet. He only asked me questions related to my problem, he did not offer any chit chat. That made me feel a little uncomfortable. But he did understand my injury and helped me to solve it. He could use a smile once in awhile.

Used or new, this bookstore is a small place full of books everywhere, on every shelf and inevery little nook and cranny. The books are pretty fairly priced and the workers are really friendly. They always help you find anything that you need. It is a small store so it cannot accommadate a lot of people, so when it gets busy, its a little hard to walk through the isles. But its still nice. And it is located right next to a cafรฉ so its a treat to be able to purchace a nice read and hang out in the cafe next door.

I stumbled across this independently owned bookstore on the web and decided to check it out. I was looking for a particular book that was really hard to find. The lady behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. I later found out that she was the owner of the store. She helped me find what I was looking for. They have a great selection of used and new books. I have returned several times and have found interesting books that I may not pick up if they were new. But the prices are great that I could not resist. I like supporting this bookstore because the owner id very friendly, always with a smile on her face ready to help. And she has a nice little store with some great deals.

I used to shop at Bebe's a lot before, but I really don't like the style of clothing that they are offering anymore. Everything is so flashy and tight. They used to have a lot of clothes that you can alternate between fun and work. Now, a lot of their clothes is just flashy that you can only wear to a bar or club. And the prices are a little on the high side. I find myself not shopping here because of the style and price of the recent clothing. And this particular store is the worst. It is bigger than most stores, but it seems like they do not offer much selection. I am just disappointed of the syle of Bebe. It is just not like what it used to be

My mom's friend hosted her daughter's wedding at the Basque Cultural Center. I was really surprised at the ambiance that they offered for such a low price. You are usually charged an arm and a leg to host a wedding/party, but not here. And they definitely do not skimp at the quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening and I would recommend Basque for any event. If you will be planning any kind of party, take a look at this amazing french restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious.

I hear alot that Ap Giannini Middle School is not as good as Hoover. I think that the two schools are pretty comparable in their academics. They both use the same ciriculum and textbooks. Both schools have great instructors. I think it is unfair to say that AP is not a good school. the children try very hard and they have wonderful activities to complenet their academics.

I visited the Sunset Branch Library a few times to find books that I needed for a research project. the lady behind teh desk was very helpful. She spent almost a half hour helping me find just the right atricle. I could no use any internet based sources, so I had oto find things in the library. The library was a little old, but everything was very well organized. Also had a lot of parking available.

Abraham Lincoln High School is fast becoming one of the better public schools in San francisco. You now have to apply to the school and be invited to attended. Before, if you just lived in the district, you were automatically accepted. Now its very different which makes the education alot better. Its great to see a public school get better and more selective in its students
