We were looking for a place for our daughter to take beginning guitar lessons. We promised them as a present since we just moved here and uprooted her from all her friends back north. We're so glad we found Peaceland. They are experts at dealing with kids with no experience, showing them how to hold the guitar, basic fingering techniques and how to pick out notes and chords. We are very impressed and it is well worth the money.

We are new to Torrance (I recently started working in Long Beach) and my wife was looking for a gynecologist that would take our insurance and also be near home. She was very pleased with the thoroughness and genuine care exhibited by these doctors. They took a complete history and provided her with a prescription that cleared up her little problem right away. Just what the doctor ordered!

Mr. Campbell, we salute you! I was very excited about my new job in Long Beach but I had to start right away. Of course, we didn't have any place to live! Mr. Campbell and his nice office ladies got us a list of available apartments in our price range right away. He took us around to the places he recommended and helped us find something could afford near our daughter's elementary school. We're still unpacking boxes but it feels like home now. :)

We were new to Torrance, VERY new, like we moved in 3 days before, when sure enough I broke a tooth on a piece of popcorn at the movies. We came from up north and I didn't know any dentists in the area. Fortunately, we remembered seeing the Ocean West sign and they took me in without even an appointment. The receptionist, hygienists and dentists were all as nice as could be, welcoming us to town. Even though they decided to pull the tooth, I was in and out in about an hour. I barely felt a thing and they took my insurance too!

If you're driving the Pacific Coast Highway and looking for a plain, cheap place to stay, Highland Motel is it. The decor needs updating and there's nothing fancy here. However, everything was clean, the staff was friendly and it didn't cost us a fortune. If you're headed for the beach, you're not going to spend much time in your room anyway, right? Not too far from LAX either if you've got a flight in the morning.

My son likes coming here to replenish his paintball collection. It's close by and they have everything he needs for him and his buddies to keep their gear up to date. He has bought a couple of guns here and buys his paintballs here too. We like it that Ez Money has knowledgeable clerks and they always remind the kids about playing safe with their paintball guns. They are friendly and courteous too.

My daughter is all girl and loves nothing more than to dress up and wear "big girl" shoes. She loves going to How Cute Shoes because they have a big selection of kids shoes there. She doesn't care what kind of shoes as long as they're new and if they have a heel, she's thrilled. The people here are patient and don't care how many pair she tries on. We have found the most adorable tennies, sandals and church shoes here. The people are great and plenty of parking.

They have such a great selection of designs, colors and styles to choose from for stationery, envelopes and letterhead. We were very pleased with the outcome and they didn't balk because it wasn't a huge order. Great people!

I dread going to the dentist, but I like taking care of my teeth. I am glad that Dr. Kimura's office is covered under my dental plan and is right close to home. They have plenty of parking and friendly receptionists. It's nice that the insurance billing is taken care of right there in his office. I had to deal with people on the phone all the time with my last dentist concerning billing problems. This is a very nice office.

When the roof needed to be replaced on the church, we called Great American Roofing. We were happy to learn that the only the roof on the annex itself needed to be replaced and that the outer buildings were fine. We were able to get the gutters and rain spouts replaced too. This is a great company to do business with and highly recommend them.
