Vacations by the sea was an excellent selection. I loved the oceanside view from the living room. I loved the fact that i could sit on the sofa with a book and from time to time look up to a beautiful view. We tried digging for clams but unfortunately came up empty handed. we visited the local Westport ports and the people are extra friendly. There aren't many stores to check out (at least at this time of year - mid march) but the places that are open were enjoyable. I loved the facilities in the kitchen and the rooms were nicely furnished. i didn't check out the amenities in the clubhouse because it was too cold to swim.
i would recommend this to my friends as a place to relax, unwind and rest. it's just over 2 hours from Seattle.

This is a great place to go if you want to find a community of serious and experienced knitters. The yarns supplied at this store are the kinds you won't find at your local craft store like Jo-Ann's or Michaels. If you're looking for silk, cashmere, natural fibres, angora - basically anything besides acrylic - you'll find it here. Be warned, you pay a hefty price for these specialty yarns but if you're tired of the vast warehouses of arts & crafts superstores and are looking for a more intimate, cozy craft store, this is it. When i dropped by this weekend, they were hosting a class. i didn't ask for details (whether the class was drop-in and whether it was fre - and if there was a schedule) but i'm sure if you were interested, you could just call or view their website.

The food is how i would expect a typical Teriyaki eatery - the usually Chicken\Beef teriyaki and katsu, gyoza, yakisoba dishes all on the main menu. the service is friendly enough. nothing really...
The food is how i would expect a typical Teriyaki eatery - the usually Chicken\Beef teriyaki and katsu, gyoza, yakisoba dishes all on the main menu. the service is friendly enough. nothing really stands out negatively or positively so it's your average teriyaki joint. the real plus is that it's conveniently located in downtown redmond.

Even though I live out in Redmond, I will make the drive out to Yea's Wok if i'm craving good wholesome chinese food. I usually make sea bass myself but I love the way they make it here. The price is comparable to what i pay at the supermarket so I'd rather eat it here than make it myself at home! I really enjoy their seafood tofu hot pot dish. It reminds me of my days back in Toronto where I used to live. My dad used to order it whenever we ate out at a chinese restaurant. i have not found this anywhere else in Seattle. LOVE IT!

I have only been to Olive Garden twice in my life. I went to lunch again anticipating their soup and salad promotion ($6.95 for unlimited breadsticks, soup and salad). I didn't see it on the menu however so I wasn't sure if it was still being offered. I ordered a soup and a salad anywa since that is what i hyped myself up for. When the bill came, it was $6.95. While it was a pleasant surprise, it would have been nice if the promotional offering was actually stated in the menu so that when i'm asked if I'd like more soup, i can say yes without wondering if i'll be billed for an extra soup. The wait time was not long - this was surprising. The restaurant actually picked up after 12:30pm today. The service was great - waiter was friendly and our food came promptly.

I like this small family owned bakery becuase it's so close and convenient. I usually come here for a quick chinese meal or for a green milk tea with lychee jelly. Delicious!

This is a great place to go if you want tried and true tastey burgers. Do NOT come here if you are looking for a low fat, light meal. the burgers drip with oil and grease, the fries are unlimited so they are filling. And the best thing I like about Red Robin is the freckled lemonade (strawberry lemonade). It is unlimited so usually i am able to down three cups during my meal - warning here again that each cup is probably something like 200 cals :S. Also the nice thing about the unlimited refills is that they will let you take one to go so you can enjoy on your car ride home or stick it in your fridge for later in the evening.

I like their dishes - it tastes delicious and is conveniently located near work place. i usually get their appetizer roti dish - it comes with a bowl of curried potatoes and naan. YUM!

I like to come here because it is conveniently located down the street from where I live. It is great to be able to get a tasty meal and do some shopping afterwards at Redmond Town Center. They are usually busy but I've never had to wait very long for a table. I also like the portions - they are reasonably priced and not oversized so that i'm too stuffed afterwards.

I came here to get a quick meal. A friend told me to check this place out so I did. I'm not a big fan of cold meals though so i didn't really like their pasta bar. it was also extremely expensive - something like 1/2 lb of pasta was $11!! Good grief. also because it was cold, and some of the pastas were oily, it was really unappealing to eat.
i guess that they weren't doing too well because the last time i passed by, i noticed they were no longer there.
