This is an awesome local yarn store that is absolutely worth the trip. The store is stock full of yarn and the best part is that nearly half of the store is on sale. The diversity of the yarn is incredible. Also the owner, Sue Fulay, is so friendly and willing to help you find the right yarn for your project. She will also help you wind your purchases in store for free. I will be returning to this store in the future - but for those who are not local to Seattle, you can order from her online at www.littleknits.com

I went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood prince at the RTC Gold Class Cinemas. I got free voucher from a promotion from Starbucks Gold cards. They treat you very well here - you are escorted the entire time and waited on with a push of a button. You are able to wait for the movie to start in the lounge area where you can enjoy drinks first. The theatre seats only 40 people - the seats are very wide and comfy. They recline almost all the way so it is very relaxing to watch the movie. If you aren't careful you might even fall asleep! Our appetizer was served as the previews were showing and our meal came during the movie. I'm not sure i enjoy eating while watching the movie. it's a bit distracting. but the food was good - i ordered a calzone - better than i htought it would be. The dough was made perfectly. I also enjoy the desserts - i got the trio of carrot cake, choco mousse and banana creme cake. yum!
If it weren't so expensive -
$30 per person for the movie ticket, dinner is extra (the prices range around 20 bucks per entree. If you go on tuesdays, a few of their food menu items are half price.) i would consider going again. Maybe on a special occasion. :)

Nice open patio seating outside of the restaurant in Redmond Town Center. able to enjoy the warm summer evening outside. The waiter tonight provided mediocre service. he forgot to give our table the bread basket even though he explicitly asked us if we wanted some. The lobster ravioli was presented as lobster pieces in between two sheets of pasta. The risotto was decent - with pieces of seafood inside. If the restaurant didn't accept the Prime card ( get the second entree free ) I would have thought this restaurant to be ridiculously expensive. However, the price becomes about right after the prime card discount.

Went here for dinner last night on a warm saturday evening. was hoping to sit at the back on their outdoor patio - it was busy but we sat near the open door at the back to enjoy the breeze. The patio is really cute against a red brick wall - would have enjoyed sitting there for dinner.
the tapas were very good - priced from $3.50 to $7 - it ranged from lamb to squid to braised beef and pork - all good stuff. The portions are small but they are good for sharing and you won't leave feeling like you've eaten more than you should have. I also ordered their cafe de leche - espresso with steamed milk .If i could have ordered again, i would have selectd the cafe bonbon - espresso with sweet condensed milk. My friend ordered it, i took a sip of it and it was delicious. my own drink was a little bit tooo bitter even for me.
Great place for a saturday night meal to share converstaion and good food with friends.

You must come to this restaurant if you are travelling along the Oregon Coast. There are multiple locations along the coast but my first experience was at the Cannon beach Mo's. I heard that this was the place to go for clam chowder on the Oregon coast but i was expecting super high prices in a posh seafood restaurant. but actually it's quite the opposite.
The greatest thing about Mo's besides their delicious chowder is that the prices are reasonable. Their dinner entries include an option for chowder so you dont have to order it on top of your entree. You can come in your beach wear without feeling out of place. This place is really down to earth, offering great seafood with great prices.
I ordered the grilled alaskan cod with steamed beans. I was skeptical about the beans because often when i get steamed veggies they come to me as mush but these were done just right - not mushy.
My family is already planning on making additional trips to their other locations. must go!

I've noticed this small shop - always drive by and thought I'd try it out. I have tried Great Clips in the past and after my last fiasco have banned that place forever. I cannot afford to continue going to Gene Juarez for a $60 cut so I gave this a shot.
Mieko's Clips is a self-run hair salon by one woman - Mieko. She's been doing this a long time so she does know what she's doing but she's not Gene Juarez. I dropped in but was asked to return in an hour since she was currently working with someone. You can probably call ahead to make an appointment. Other than that, she sat me down, asked what I wanted and went at it. She was able to do a really good job with the cut - the ends were all even and she even took the time to make sure that the cut would work with both side parts. YOu know, how sometimes if you part on one side, and then part on the other side, there are uneven hairs? She made sure that wouldn't happen which actually, I appreciated. She was really fast as well. She said my hair gave her more trouble than normal since it sticks out in every odd way - which is true. but she was very careful to try to make everything fall into place correctly. i was in an out in about 30 minutes. And the final price was $18 after tip.
I believe so long as she is there, that is where i will get my hair cut. :)

I was raised in a city were you could get wonton soup at any restaurant in Chinatown so I expected the same when I moved to Seattle. I was sorely disappointed and realized how much I took the wonton soup at home for granted! I discovered this restaurant recently and thought the wonton soup to be just the same as at home - delicious pork wontons, noodles cooked just right and the soup was spot on. The regular size is a bit on the small side so if you're going fo ra full meal, probaly you might want to go for the large size. I would have ordered more but they only accepted cash and I only had $6 on me.

I've never been to Greece so I can't say if they are authentic or not but I really like the Chicken Gyros - the pita was so good - just a bit chewy and soft flat bread. The chicken was tender and seasoned just right. This is a great place to come for lunch - get there a bit before 12 to beat the line up!

This is a tastey and affordable taiwanese restaurant to go to for lunch or dinner. I ordered their beef noodle soup - i liked this because the noodles were made with spinach. The soup was good beef broth and the beef very tender. My favourite part of the meal was dessert though. THey have a wide variety of fresh fruit options with shaved ice or ice cream. I shared a mango dessert dish with 3 other friends. It was ginormous! It arrived in a huge bowl, shaved ice with condensed milk, mango syrup, chunks of fresh mango and topped with mango ice cream.

This is the best place to go for dessert. $1.50 will get you two cookies and a scoop of ice cream in between. I selected the classic chocolate chip cookie and white macadamia nut cookie with espresso ice cream in between for my ice cream sandwich. All three were awesome. the cookies were a bit sweet so next time, I would try getting cookies without chips or else select an ice cream without the chips. I also bought a brownie to eat for next day's snack which cost me aother $0.45. I was really tempted to buy a half dozen to take back to Seattle with me but I thought that would be to crazy. The brownie was still soft and fresh the next day - not dried out at the edges like I thought it would be. Awesome! I would ddefinitely come out of my way to have dessert here. MUST GO
