Spicy hot!

Thursday, August 27, 2009
Dined on one of the hottest days in Seattle this summer (think 100 F) and so eating spicy food may not have been the best choice - or maybe it was. I've been told that when you eat spicy food on a hot day, it helps to cool you down. Regardless, the food at this new restaurant was spicy. I tried their dan dan mein and it came in a large bowl (portions are of larger than typical size), dried with minced pork (yum!) and peanut chili sauce. Mixed it all together and enjoyed the entire bowl. Also tried their appetizer mixer - at the front of the restaurant is a bar of small traditional authentic chinese appetizers - you can pick 3 for $5.99 i believe. I would like to try this restaurant again on a cooler day - the place might have had AC but it was really hot inside.
