“Christie is one of a kind!”

This review is for: Karma

Christie is a stylist who takes pride in her work, truly cares about her clients, and provides services that are individualized. I look forward to every visit that I make to Karma Salon to see Christie...as do my two daughters, my mother, my aunt, and one of my good friends (who is a male). Christie is not a cookie cutter hairstylist and really takes the time to get to know her clients and their hair. She listens to client expectations, provides honest feedback, and collaboratively works with her clients to provide services, and if wanted by the client, products, that are appropriate for each individual client. I personally get haircuts and color treatments from Christie, while my daughters and a good friend get haircuts, and my mother and aunt get both haircuts and hi-lights...all of us visiting on a consistent basis. Every time that we make the trip from Middletown and Plainville, we leave the salon feeling that we have received the very best services from Christie. My daughters are biracial, Caucasian and African American, and her ability to work with hair of diverse textures is outstanding. Christie always takes her time, and never makes her clients feel like she is rushing in order to get to her next client. Christie's demeanor is professional, upbeat, trendy, and most of all genuine. Her appearance is appropriately trendy. Her haircutting, styling, chemical treatment, and make-up techniques are creative, up to date, concise, and detail oriented, all of which she polishes and enhances through consistent attendance to professional development classes and shows. I cannot imagine what I, or my family or friends, would do without her expertise!!!! Thank you for everything Christie, and I look forward to hearing from you soon! Rachel K. : )
