The Mellow Mushroom is a great place to get some really good pizza. The atmosphere is very lively here and it is usually full of a good mix of families, college kids, and adults. The only drawback to that is that it can get quite noisy. There is ample seating and they have these great booths that will seat 4-5 people on each side, allowing for a decent sized group to have a bit of privacy during dinner.
The food is really good here too. Pizzas are hand tossed and you can choose from one of their gourmet pizzas or pick what you'd like on it yourself. They also have really good sandwiches here and you have your choice of white or wheat bread. The only thing I don't like about the menu is that they have very limited appetizers - basically cheese bread or garlic bread and you don't really need those if you're ordering a pizza.
Pizzas are great though and it's a fun restaurant.
