The Calico Cat is the best, and the only dedicated, toy store on Bainbridge Island. A local institution for at least ten years, the Calico Cat is the go-to place for birthday gifts on the island and they do a great job of stocking interesting and fun things. Highly recommended.

Visited Giordano's on a trip with my daughter from Seattle. Was highly recommended by a friend, but famous stuffed pizza was too cheesey (almost two inches thick). Was tasty, but no way two of us could even get close to finishing a small pie. Add in two caesar salads and we had enough leftovers for another dinner or two. Would go again, but order the thin crust.

The best pizza on Bainbridge. Reasonably priced and fast. Great for pickup, limited seating available and slices available too. Will make you long for New York City or Chicago though :)

One of my favorite take-out lunch spots in Seattle. Best for take-out, as dining area is very cramped and usually crowded. Thai food is great (#7 Chicken Curry is my favorite) and service fast.

Koji has been my favorite spot for casual business lunches for years. The sushi is great, the other Japanese food is very good, the service is very fast (easily in and out in 45 minutes) and the prices are very reasonable (generally can get out for under $25 for two). Dinner is also great, although the higher prices (and commensurate very large portions) usually cause me to stick with sushi for dinner. A favorite of kids as well, Koji's Harbor Steps location makes this a natural when we are all over in Seattle from Bainbridge Island.
Highly recommended!
