Popular place and as my friend would say it 'the only place i'd pay for italian is this'. We came by here and had some wait, but this location has both indoor dining and a nice gated patio area with heaters. Fun atmosphere and really generous portions. Honor system wine is interesting, they bring you this huge jug of red wine. Pastas are around $17. Lobster linguini and the best is the calamari appetizer. To top it off, their desserts were very tempting though I didn't save enough room for them. All you can eat garlic bread (very delicious too)

Lots of selections of Taiwanese dishes, snacks and desserts. Friendly wait staff and quick service. Authentic taste. Can't go wrong with anything so just pick, each dishes are averaging $5-$8. I like the minced meat over rice bowl. Now, here is the holy crap part. Their mango shaved ice. Two sizes, regular and large. Large, is HUGE. It's literally a bowl that you can wash your face in, a water basin with mountain full of shaved ice, mangos, condensed milk and mango ice cream. IT"S HUGE! Four of us each had 4 small bowls and still had left over. It's great. Wish there is a place like this in Seattle.

The first impression of this hotel is wow, so grand. The interior decor is really Victorian like with high ceilings. Gives you the high classy feeling. Though once you go into the room, it's spacious but very old. Washroom is bit rusty and paint chips, the fixtures were old style and little bit unclean. Definitely not the new modern hotel with everything so new, clean and high tech. The windows leaked air and can hear the street traffic at night. Housekeeping call was really slow, when we had to ask for toothbrushes. The location though is very conveniently situated in the downtown core of LA, accessible to bus, metro and walking distance to all the office buildings. Parking onsite is ridiculously expensive of $45. Unless you come here for business, I'd find somewhere else to stay. Wireless/Wired internet isn't free. On premises, there are few ballrooms, a bar, and few restaurants.

Wow...what a gem I found inside the supermarket at Little Tokyo Plaza. Looks like a family run, noodles and rice bowls. Taste delicious. We ordered Tempura Udon and Tonkotsu Ramen. Each was like $4.75. So good and yet so cheap! Sure it's inside of a supermarket but this is great!

One yogurt place of all yogurt places. There are so many different frozen yogurt places now, but this one is different. This one has so many different yogurt flavors and they charge you by weight! It's very interesting process, you just walk up to the row of yogurt dispensers and pick what you want and pour them into the container, and then you can place whatever toppings. At the end, they'll measure it and off you go. Comes out lot cheaper than other yogurt places. I love the plain, berries, tiramisu flavors.

Very authentic japanese 'kitssaten' - coffee shop + light dinner. They have the spaghetti meat sauce cooked with ketchup and you can select various things (hamburge steak, chicken katsu etc). Curry is japanese style too. My favorite is the Curry + Hamburge steak + Rice. Small store, so be ready to wait, but you'll get a taste of little Tokyo.

After being recommended, we came by. It was hard to spot, since it's a really tiny store front. Family run style restaurant, casual. From the look of it, they make all of their noodles, dumplings and pot stickers. Oh I almost forgot, their spring onion cake! Beef noodle is yummy! The szechuan noodle is really spicy, I love it, but if you are not great with spice, I'd avoid ordering that one. This is the best beef noodle soup I've had for a while. Their pot sticker is very interesting shaped, but delicious. Average price per dish is $6 which is very reasonable.

Good: Finally they've added few new items like salmon skin rolls, redmond rolls and they had sesame dessert balls.. Bad: Lack of variety. It's always the same thing circling and I don't think they have the automatic disposal system like the restaurants in japan does. Size of the rolls are getting smaller too.. Improvements: Add more fish based sushi, not just rolls and not just all cooked stuff. It's a sushi restaurant, so I'd like to eat raw fish! Like, salmon sushi, toro sushi, uni etc..
