Feathered friends have been making down sleeping bags and jackets locally since 1972. They've received a lot of praise over the years for the quality products they produce.
If you're e a light weight geek check out the Hummingbird. It's around 27 ounces and you can even choose between the fabric choices they have to offer if you want something other than standard nylon.
I enjoy supporting a small business even if there's a little more of a premium for doing so. I think of a sleeping bag or down jacket as long term investment and any of their products will return each year.
