I eat here all the time and had yet another fantastic lunch with clients this week. Service is always as good as you could ask for and the food, while not the most exotic, is always perfecctly cooked and done just the way you'd want it. Their Seafood salad is awesome for lunch as well as the Kobe Beef Burger with Bacon. Make reservations at least a week out though and if you go for dinner ask for Craig, still the best waiter in Seattle!

I used to eat here every week and recently went back for lunch with a small group. Hence the title, the food has gone WAAAAYyy downhill. Flavorless and too much MSG, I used to rank Shallots up there with Chinoise and now it is a mile away. The service was good and prompt as always and I like their menu concept but what a bummer.....

I expected the old Rama on Post Street restaurant to be here and had some clients meet me for lunch. There weren't that many people there which always makes me leery (read: crowds+sushi=good food) The box lunch was excellent and a great deal under 10 bucks, we had a decent spicy tuna roll and a really good soft shell crab roll with jalapeno's, I eat sushi at probably 20 different places a year all over the West and East coast and found Nijo really good and the service was solid. $130 without tip for lunch for 6 of us and we all ate a ton....

I am a self professed "foodie" and Tony Hills store has changed my cooking forever. If you do one thing with your cooking visit them and throw out all of those crappy McCormicks spices that you have owned since 1989. I make dishes around his diifferent curries and rubs, the best!

I had an El Gaucho Caesar 2 nights ago and it WAS excellent but Maro at Il Bistro makes one just as good and the bar is amazingly chill and dark. Check it out.
