We called & asked Brown Plumbing to come out & give us an estimate on a broken pipe. When the man showed up, he said there was a $68 fee for estimates. We were never told this when we called. We politely told the man no thank you. (We had lots of people give estiamtes for free.) Since then we've got nothing but certified letters & harassing phone calls from Brown Plumbing, telling us if we don't pay them they're going to "do it the hard way."
I could never recommend a company that does not disclose fees to their consumers & then threatens to harm them if they don't pay them. $68 for a phone call is simply highway robbery.
