Cheap golf- figuratively and literally

Pomona is an executive nine hole course near Richard Stockton College in New Jersey. It looks like someone's backyard. It is mixture of par threes and par fours. The course is not very well kept, although it has improved immensely in recent years. A skilled golfer will not find it very challenging at all. It is, however, a terrific place for those just learning the game or taking their kids. There are few if any water hazards, and the distances are short. Greens fees are very low. Because of the low greens fees and the ease of the course, it is often very crowded on nice days.
