If you have never been to a Bed & Breakfast, and you want something for a special occasion, you should definitely consider driving to Rocheport, MO. The owners, Mike and Lisa, are a class act, and it's obvious they love what they do. If you go as a mother/daughter (as I did), as sisters (as I can't wait to do), or as a couple celebrating a special occasion (which I'm trying to talk my husband into), there is a warm room with a great breakfast waiting. The beds were more comfortable than any hotel I've ever been in, and even my 18 year old daughter found herself infatuated with the atmosphere of an old school turned bed and breakfast. The only warning, if you don't like mushrooms in your eggs, warn them ahead of time!

A classy small sidewalk cafe/ coffee shop very close to the state capitol that is owned by a real chef from Luxembourg! The food is outstanding, and for a coffee addict, the coffee is unbeatable. The prices are very affordable, and the menu offers something for everyone from the heavy dessert lover to the dieter. The owners Patrick and Audrey are very cordial, and the counter help always treat customers with extreme politeness.
