Schulte's IGA was once the largest grocery in a small town. They have stayed with only one store and by doing so have kept the reputation of having the freshest meat and the best produce in Jefferson City. On top of that, the bakery is run by one of the best bakers in town, and the store's donuts and cinnamon rolls are famous in the area. It has maintained that small store atmosphere in a time of chain store takeovers.
