Family Video Store has cheaper rental fees in comparison to Blockbuster. If a movie is unavailable at Blockbuster I will usually head over to Family Video and am able to find what I am looking for. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Family Video however, does not offer as many movies as other video stores.

If the books I need are not available, they will locate the books and have the books sent directly to the store at no charge. They also offer coupons for extra savings in the mail. Be sure to get a perks stamp card as well to save on a future purchase.

They also collect old glasses to donate to an organization for those who are in need of prescription glasses. They will take them in any condition.

I love this store! It used to be Galyan's and it's pretty much the same thing. They have a points card that allows you to accumulate credit toward a $10 gift card. They have a wide selection of gymshoes and all the sports equipment you need. There's an area where you can practice your golf shots which is pretty neat. The guys in the departments are informative and helpful.

You can pick and view your own styles and colors. Keep your eye out for special discount offers as well.

It's a great spot to pick up a wedding gift or gifts for the holiday season. They have some good gourmet dressings and candy. They usually have samples for customers to try out too! The store could get a bit messy at times.

Sometimes parking gets a little crazy over the weekends but it's nice to be able to eat, watch a movie, and go shopping all in one. They don't take student discounts at this theatre.

The colors are bolder and brighter and it's geared more toward the younger hipper crowd. I would suggest going here if you are looking for a sophisticated gift. It's more modern and trendy. They are located in a random area.

I think it's another one of those over-priced trendy cafes. The brownies are pretty good. The decor is nothing special. You can also sit in the shop and enjoy your dessert with some tea or coffee. It's a nice one time experience.

This breakfast/brunch dive is hip and there are lots of local Chicago people that stop by regularly. Breakfasts fresh and the service is pretty quick. The salmon eggs benedict isgreat with with the warm hollandaise over it. Hash browns are sprinkled with dill and they are not greasy. The banana toffee pancakes are too die for! The sauce makes it. They have a seasonal menu with some eclectic drinks. Sometimes you'll see the hosting drinking them and it just makes you want to order it! This is one of my favorite restaurants! Get their early before the line gets long!
