This is great spot for some late night music! This is an old style lounge where Al Capone supposedly hung out at. It's a very intimate setting and they feature the greatest local artists and bands. They also have poetry slams. It gets crowded and people hang out until 3 or 4 am. Definitely get there early. There's usually a minimum cover charge at the door.

The Container Store is a great place for all you type A people. Their prices are not very competitive but they have so many great organization ideas. I have purchased many items here to organize my scrapbooking materials, my socks, and some of my kitchenware. I have not seen any sale papers or coupons which is unfortunate.

They have a plethora of vitamins and they also offer several lines of all natural beauty products including Burt's Bees. The quality is good here, but the prices are on the higher end.

This is a beautiful place to go dancing. I usually go here on Sundays for swing dancing. They have live bands or a DJ spinning some great tunes. The wooden floors are beautiful and it's probably one of the bigger dance floors in the Chicago land area. There is a cover charge and the guys at the front aren't the friendliest but once you get past them, you'll have an enjoyable night of dancing and great music.

The store is supposed to be known for their affordable prices but I think it's expensive due to the fact that the quality is not so great. The store is pretty big and it gets really hectic and messy. Sometimes you could find some good deals though. The clothes tend to fit a bit strange and the sized run about 1 size small. They have a cute children's section and a maternity section as well.

Basically you have to start from one end and get to the other end. There is no easy way around. It gets pretty crowded and parking is a disaster. If you are willing to endure then go for it. I'm sure you are bound to find some deals.

I went to Great Clips to get a 2 inch trim. I just wanted to get rid of the dry end by getting a trim and cut turned out awful. My hair was uneven. There was only one hair stylist present at the time. Hair cuts here are cheap, but I would rather pay more do get a better job done. I don't suggest going to Great Clips or any other cheaper salons. The stylist seem to be inexperienced.

This is by far the best health food store. There prices are usually cheapest. The items in the store are marked down 20% everyday. I get my lip balms and facial care products here at a better price than I would at any other drug store or health food store. The staff is always very helpful and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge about products.

I love the field museum. It's a super place to go to with your friends and family. They have beautiful displays both visual and interactive and the guides are wonderful. It's educational and fun....
I love the field museum. It's a super place to go to with your friends and family. They have beautiful displays both visual and interactive and the guides are wonderful. It's educational and fun. It's also free on Tuesdays. The kids will really enjoy the dinosaur and mummy exhibitions. Great place do go during the summer. You can take a walk around the downtown area.
