Ed's family restaurants has 2 locations now. One located in Howard City and one just on the outskirts of town on M46(just off the exit on US 131). The location in town is currently being remodeled,but the M46 location is open for business.
Ed's has a wide variety of meals to choose from. There is a kid's menu as well. There are daily specials and Friday night is All You Can Eat Fried Fish night. Menu choices range from American(like burgers) to Italian(including pizza). If you have a family that can't decide what they want or if everyone always wants something different, Ed's is a good place to go.
The location on M46 is a medium sized place,while the location in town is larger. They both have a hometown feel and a very casual environment. While I wouldn't recommend it for a night on the town,it's a decent place to eat and the food is pretty decent.
