Carol is a wonderful, caring, patient, flexible, enthusiastic teacher and brings the joy of music to kids of all ages newborns on up. Both my children took her classes from when they were 3 months old and loved every minute. She introduces music through listening, dancing, singing and experimenting with instruments, scarves, stories, pretend play etc... Each class has a loose structure but always begins with an opening greeting song using each of the child's names. Then there is a theme or focus to the class each week such a rhythm, movement, singing etc..and she incorporates this is a variety of imaginative ways.
Within every class the kids also learn basic skills like turn taking, sharing, getting along with others and cleaning up when done. Parent or caretaker is expected to accompany the child through the whole class and each class is about 45 minutes.
I highly recommend Carol and this class for any child!
