Ellsworth Tree Farm

We go to this farm every year to have the experience of cutting our own Christmas tree. They are only open the weekend after Thanksgiving until the second weekend of December and we missed it last year so, check their website for times and dates. They have a huge field of trees to walk around and chose what you want. You can cut it yourself (they provide saws) or one of the employees will cut it for you. They "shake" the tree for pine needles, take it back down to the parking lot and even provide twine and help getting it on your car. They have a barn there as well where you can go in and shop for wreaths, get free hot cider and visit with Santa!
Do take note, they are a cash ONLY business. No credit cards and no checks. Trees average around $75 so be sure to have cash on hand. The whole experience is worth the money spent.
