An exceptional business! I called the week before Thanksgiving looking to have my chimneys cleaned and they happened to have a cancellation. They were out with in 2 days. They called the morning of the cleaning to confirm and make sure someone was home. He arrived 15 minute early and was here only an hour. He was honest in saying one didn't really need a cleaning and recommended we have them cleaned in the spring next time because it's cheaper! I couldn't believe my luck. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a chimney service!

This is a great place to take your kids once the snow starts flying!
It's a great indoor arcade/playspace/pizza joint. They have a huge climbing structure with tunnels and slides. tIn addition, they also have a carousel, ferris wheel & "frog Hopper" as well as multiple arcade games (skee ball, shoot the clown etc...) $10 per child over 3 years will get them unlimited access to the big rides (mentioned above) and then you can buy tokens for the games. The games give tickets for points earned and the kids can redeem their tickets for prizes at the end. They have a pizza stand as well that sell all the regular refreshments. Bringing your own food in is not allowed.

This is a wonderful "farm stand" that my mother in law has been going to for years. They are a huge store with some regular grocery item but also a deli, gourmet cheese section, baked goods, local freshly made jams, jellies, preserves, oils, mixes and homemade cider. In season they also sell apples, Christmas trees and wreaths. For fresh, locally produced food- this place can't be beat!

We go to this farm every year to have the experience of cutting our own Christmas tree. They are only open the weekend after Thanksgiving until the second weekend of December and we missed it last year so, check their website for times and dates. They have a huge field of trees to walk around and chose what you want. You can cut it yourself (they provide saws) or one of the employees will cut it for you. They "shake" the tree for pine needles, take it back down to the parking lot and even provide twine and help getting it on your car. They have a barn there as well where you can go in and shop for wreaths, get free hot cider and visit with Santa!
Do take note, they are a cash ONLY business. No credit cards and no checks. Trees average around $75 so be sure to have cash on hand. The whole experience is worth the money spent.

Located in a 18th century barn, this is a tiny, out of the way place that sells their own herbs, candles, sachets, incense and gifts for home and garden. In the spring they sell herb plants and perennials. I just visited in the fall and they had lots of great little items for stocking stuffers such as bagged herbs and mixes, candles, lotions and little trinket garden themed items. Really a "Mom and Pop" type operation but worth the stop and a peek. I plan to go back in the spring and get some herb plants for my garden. Fall hours are kind of here and there so call first to make sure they are open.

This famous ship is the oldest commissioned Warship still afloat and is a huge part of our countries history. It's located in Charlestown Ma and you are able to go on board, take a tour and hear the history of this magnificent boat from costumed crew members. A wonderful in person way for children so see, hear and experience history. This is a Navy vessel and it's stated to arrive half an hour before your tour as you will have to go through security.
They still do sail the boat several times a year including every Fourth of July when the sail the boat out and turn it around to dock until the following year.
A must see if in Boston!

Right in the heart of downtown Boston, this is the church most famous for the midnight ride of Paul Revere and the lanterns that signaled "one if by land , two if by sea" in it's steeple. It is open for tours of the historic church and they also have scavenger hunts and a show called "Paul Revere tonight" where you can "meet" him and learn more about his life and historic ride. The show runs weekly Summer and Fall.A fun way for children to learn about America's history.

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary for a tour of Boston, this is the thing! It's a tank -like car that can also change and turn into a boat! You ride through the streets of Boston, see all the sites and then even take a ride up the Charles River. You are given a Duck whistle and are asked several times by the conDUCKtor to quack at passers by. Very fun and a great time for the kids too! You can get on your ride at The Museum of Science or the Prudential Center. It's not a cheap ride ($25 for adults) but they do give group rates and have wheelchair accessible access.

Located in the heart of Boston In the Boston Public Garden, this is a quintessential "Boston" thing to do in the spring and summer. They open in late April and close in September. During peak season- mid may through the summer, you can expect to wait for 30 for a ride. The beautiful boats are shaped like swans and peddled by one man around the beautiful ponds within the Public gardens for a 15 minute ride. A great thing to do with small children and "kids of all ages". An inexpensive ride as well! Adults are $2 and children only 75c! You can call and reserve for large groups.
