Yes, it can be crowded, but it is definitely worth the wait. The happy hour menu cannot be beat and the food is tasty. Sit at the bar whenever you can help it--it is a perfect stop after walking around the lake or after work or a lazy Sunday or while watching the game on the tv in the back corner...perfect at any time. GLB&G is a favorite stop and an easy choice on those nights/afternoons/mornings when you think, "where should we go?" when all you want is a strong drink and some good food served by some very nice and unpretentious people =)
