Great piercer (David)

Monday, June 05, 2006
I've had quite a few piercings over the years, but the worst experience by far was getting my earlobes pierced at the mall when I was 7. Long story short - I passed out after the first one and made the women do the other one anyway a few hours later. They were never quite right and I took them out a few years later. No piercings scare me like my earlobes (yes, that's right - I've had nose, tongue, nipples, etc. which were all fine but the thought of piercing my earlobes makes me shake). Anyway, I decided it was finally time to get them re-pierced. Unfortunately, my previous piercers were unavailable so I went in search of a new one and found David at Slave to the Needle. He was great and very patient. I explained the whole thing to him and he didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. He helped me select the right jewelry and did the whole process with the by-the-book cleanliness you should expect of any reputable piercer. My previous earrings were not quite even so I had him even them up and now they are practically perfect. ;) If you're looking for a piercer, give David a try - he's great. Especially if you are a big wuss like me.
