Assisted Living in Beautiful Vashon Island

Vashon Community Care Center is an adult assisted living facility (they also provide day programs and skilled nursing/rehabilitation) on Vashon Island. I have visited the facility twice and have been impressed each time. Each resident gets an apartment that is very nice and can participate in a bunch of activities. Their dining room is also nice with good healthy food. I loved the setting - it's so peaceful there and they have nice raised gardens (so you don't have to get down on hands and knees or hunch over to garden) that residents can help tend. Very nice.
