Swedish Hospital is a very nice hospital so long as you like to pay for parking in a crowded parking garage. The NICU care is outstanding but the waiting area is on the small side. They also didn't have many rooms for parents to stay in overnight if you have a baby needing to stay in the NICU.
The birthing rooms are very nice and we wished we could have stayed longer in one, but since our baby needed attention in the NICU, we were moved to a different room. The nurses were kind and very quick to help my wife. They do have an Antepartum area so that pregnant women with problems who need to be in the hospital don't have to hear all the women giving birth in the rooms next door.
The food isn't that great, so you may find yourself walking to the nearest McDonald's if you have a family member as a patient.

Valley Medical Center is one of the smaller ones in the Seattle area but still is a great one. Both my wife and I have been in for outpatient surgeries and I found the staff to be wonderful and helpful. My kids have also been in the emergency here and though the care is great, the wait is horribly long. The most recent time we had to wait for about an hour just to be re-directed to a place next door. It's also a good place to deliver a baby and since we had our last baby there, they have updated some of the birthing rooms.

This is an ok store. They don't have a huge selection of instruments but I did like their selection of music. The do offer some lessons. I went in one time after buying my wife a Viola and it needed some new parts. They were supposed to order something for the Viola, but it never came in and we had to keep calling them asking if the part had come in. Finally, we picked the Viola up without the new part and were given some free strings, but it was a little frustrating.

Dr. DeGroot was only a little helpful when I saw her for my aching back. She seemed more on the formal side and wanting to make money rather than actually wanting to help my back feel better. During the times I saw her, I think she made my back feel worse than better. Her office is a little small but in a convenient location in the Cascade Shopping Center.

I found Snowboard Connection to have a nice selection of snowboards, skateboards and all the gear to go with it. The staff are very friendly and are eager to help even if you don't buy something in their store. They did have some freebies available and got a really nice poster for my son's room.

Cedar Grove is closed often and because of that, I prefer making a longer drive to Iddings for bark and to dump some of my yard waste next door at Rainier Wood Recyclers. They also don't seem to give you as much bark for your money as Iddings does. They are well staffed and make it easy for you to drop you're yard waste. They accept grass clippings and other normal yard waste unlike at Rainier Wood Recyclers.

This is a nice place to dump some of your yard waste. They accept stumps, branches and wood that is clean. I found them to be fast and their prices reasonable. I like the fact that every time I'm gone here, they are open unlike at Cedar Grove. Iddings is right next door, so you can buy some bark on your way out.

This is a great place to buy compost and bark. Their prices are reasonable and I¹ll definitely make a longer drive there because I've found their bark to be better than at Cedar Grove. They are right next door to Rainier Wood Recyclers, so it makes it nice to take some yard waste in and then get some bark on the way back home.

Dr. Vandita Samavedi saw my wife once when her PCP was unavailable. My wife needed to be seen for a sore throat, possibly strep. Dr. Samavedi was unfriendly and treated my wife as if her pain was in her head. And though, her sore throat did not end up being strep in the end, Dr. Samavedi offered nothing helpful when it came to alleviating my wife's pain. She simply told her that the over-the-counter medicines would work if my wife used them properly which they never helped. I feel that Dr. Samavedi didn't care to really listen to what my wife was saying and also belittled her and her pain.

We took our baby into see Dr. Ginger Allen when she couldn¹t be seen by her PCP. Dr. Allen took good care of our baby and diagnosed her right away. She was quick to prescribe her medication and the wait time seemed average. Dr. Allen was friendly and I wouldn't mind her caring for my daughter again in the future when her PCP is unavailable.
