Among the lot of restaurants at the Grove's Farmer's Market Loteria stands out. Their nachos can be made meatless and have an amazing salsa verde on them. We've decided they are the most addictive nachos we've ever tried. They also have great drinks like watermelon juice,, and traditional horchata. I've heard the tacos are kind of plain, it's just meat on a tortilla. I recently tried the potato taquitos with guacamole and loved them. If you like Mexican food I'm sure you'll enjoy this place.

I've been going to this place for about a year, and I'm pretty sure it's changed owners. They've redesigned the inside to be much "swankier" if you will and expanded their menu. I'd say the food is consistently good, especially the breakfast. I love their herb omelet and breakfast potatoes. On a nice day you can sit on the patio and even bring your pup. It's part restaurant part flower shop and you can actually sit in the flower shop if you like. The vegetarian sandwich on the lunch menu is a monster. It's got things I never would of dreamed of and is huge and really good. Service is always good too.

When I read reviews of this place I couldn't wait to try it, I went the next week. When I got there I was a little discouraged when I saw the wait since it was such a hot die but was happy to be seated on the inside where there was AC. The menu was inviting, lots of things sounded good. We ordered the nacho potatoes and each got a sandwich. When the potatoes arrived they looked good but were really bland. The salsa that came with them was like tomato paste and ketchup mixed together. I ordered the "Mimi's sandwich" which ended up being like some sort of canned pickled salad mixed with red cabbage. It was awful. I spooned out the salad and ate the crust of the bread, which seemed to be okay. Our waitress kind of forgot about us until it was time for the bill. All in all, it was not great.

When was the last time you saw a movie for 7 bucks? Let alone two! This little piece of the 50's (or whatever) is a great place to watch movies. You come with your friends, your food, your pet! They've replaced the screens and the sounds is transmitted through your FM radio. It's not old movies or anything either it's the new current up to date movies. They have a snack shack that's open until pretty late as well where you can find somewhat reasonably priced nachos, burritos, churros and that kind of stuff. It's a great summer outing.

This pizzeria has all of the flavor that every other L.A. pizza place is lacking. The owners must really be from Brooklyn because their thin crust pies are as good as anything you can find back East. Even though the wait staff can have a little of bit of New York City attitude, it's all part of the charm that lets this place transform into anyones favorite new York pizzeria. I recommend adding garlic to the pizza of you are so bold. And if you aren't, well try the garlic bread. If you decide you'd like a dessert along with your meal, their Betty Crocker type cakes are a perfect ending.

If you love breakfast, no even if you don't love breakfast you need to go there. All their egg scrambles are amazing, try them with foccacia bread. The best part about this place is the pumpkin waffle. I mean, everyones heard of pumpkin pancakes but the waffles are really heaven. You can buy the mix in the store too. I've tried to make them myself but they weren't quite as good. They also have something like a bacon and chedder waffle? All I know is that everything is amazing and needs to be tried. Enjoy!

This place is amazing. It's low key, quiet, but very popular. It's on the healthy side with brown rice and whole wheat tortillas, but the best part is the plantains. They put delicious plantains inside the burritos! The combo of sweet, spicy, savory, and hearty are perfect. They also have interesting drinks and desserts. Everything has a good old home meal vibe to it and can be made vegetarian. I think once a month or so they have get together there and it's just a really great place to check out.

Not quite as good as a starbucks in my opinion but a cute comfortable place. The pastries aren't very good....maybe try and get something packaged if you have a craving. The service also is kind of slow but the people there are very nice. There are comfy couches and it's right around a movie theater and a bunch of restaurants. Check it out.

I've been to this place a couple times because I couldn't decide if I liked it or not, and than I decided that I didn't. The bread sticks are ok, but if you have too many of them you usually don't feel too hot. We usually get the salad which is alright, sometimes it has a lot of brown to it though. The pizza's look gross though I haven't tried them. I guess it's ok for a quick lunch but you're better off getting a pretzel as far as I'm concerned.

I used to work there, and to be honost there's a lot of things I really don't like. However, now that I've been working elsewhere for a year I still have cravings for some of their foods. They have the absolute best spinach artichoke dip on the planet. If you think you've had the best you're wrong. Also they have an amazing chocolate pecan pie. Ask for no whiskey sauce or whip cream, it's amazing with the vanilla bean ice cream. For an entree the spinach feta penne is really good (if it's still there). I always got it without chicken, but if you're a chicken fan it's the way to go. Oh and everything on the breakfast menu is amazing!
