I LOVE getting my nails done at Nail Again. The rates are amazing ($7 for manicure and $15 for pedicure), and they do a great job. My favorite part of the pedicure is when they rub fresh aloe on your legs- it feels wonderful. Also, polish usually chips so quickly for me, and on my real nails, when I get them done at Nail Again, they last for almost a week. I definitely recommend Nail Again to everyone.

Hair View Salon is a small beauty salon in SF. When you first look for it, it's abit awkward as it is in rooms over a chemist shop but once you know where you are going, there's no problem. There is a little bit of a car park - enough room for arund 4 cars but as they would probably only have 2 clients in the salon at any one time, that is more than enough.
The salon itself is ran by two women - Caroline who is the owner, and Andrea, both of whom are very pleasant to speak to both on the phone and in person. Whatever treatment you are looking for, if they can do it, they will. In fact, both have recently updated their training and have extended their range of treatments (they use Elemis products)and surprisingly, the prices aren't that expensive.
From the outside, the salon doesn't look much but once you are inside, it's a different story. You go up a flight of stairs into the reception area where there are comfy chairs to sit on while you wait to be called in, there are always up to date magazines to browse through and a variety of leaflets telling of varying treatments that they do. There is a toilet room for customers use (very useful when I had treatments when I was pregnant and always needing the loo.) and a place for hanging coats etc.

You have to be careful who cuts your hair at Hair Tech 828 Salon. The top stylists do a good job. The junior ones vary, if they don't speak English it could end up in disaster. They used to offer cuts by them for $5-8 but now the juniors charge $25, a little too much for the quality.
However the location is great - train accessable. Lots of restaurants around too.

She doesn't wash, only wets, so it doesn't always look good when it dries. And definitely don't get her to do colour or highlights. She was talking on the phone and now I have horizontal stripes on my head. Great for men, not so great for anything too complicated.

I was very happy with my streaks and sassy new cut. Chris and Farah and the rest of the staff were delightfully pleasant and warm. Great atmosphere, service and value. Go there - check it out!!!!!!

same thing happened to my friend - store owner would not credit her account back. I have contacted the better business bureau. I suggest her to do the same. The hairstyle was not worth the hassle

The second time, the guy gave me a great haircut but he was a jerk. I didn't see him last time I went by, so maybe he's not there anymore. I have spoken to several other staff since, and it's been really hit or miss. One of them was super nice, but the others were kinda rude and snobby

Well at first I loved Hair Bank and the people. By the end I looked like a clown and was wishing I had gone somewhere else. She cut my hair really well, and then I asked for her to make the sides a little shorter, by the end it looked like she gave me a bowl cut. She tried to fix it, but only shaving my head bald would have worked. I went to work the next day with employees laughing at the bad job she had done. wish it was a better experience ... too bad i'm not going back.

RAYMOND ROCKS! To find a good hairdresser is great, but to find a great hairdresser is Fabulous! It took at least 4.5 hours to take my hair from red to blonde, and let me tell you, raymond did a fantastic job. He is very patient, intelligent, and goes out of his way to make sure you are 100% satisfied. It has taken me 2 years to find a hairdresser and I have finally found the one!
