this is a retail store that sells sports equipment for just about everything. they have also incorporated a program where you can bring in your kids old sports equipment or shoes and receive cash back or trade in on other new and used products that they have in the store. this has worked very well for us since we have two teenage boys that are involved in sports. if you need help finding something they will let you know if they have it or let you know where you can find it.

this is a locally owned ice cream store that serves a variety of items for a small town shop. it has pleasant clerks that will help answer questions as needed. they have a special called a RAZZLE which compares to a dairy queen blizzard and it comes in several flavors to choose from. the prices are fair and it has a great atmosphere to sit down and enjoy.

this is a small town local doctors office. they have a pa in this office that takes the time to get to know you and to explain everything so that you can understand what they are talking about. this pa also specializes in sports injuries so when i had two teenage sons in sports it came in handy to be able to have him see them or to call with questions. my kids also ask me to request to see only him as they have gotten very comfortable seeing him. the office staff is also very helpful and courteous.

this is small locally owned retail store that sells everything that you need to make your own jewelry. they have a good selection of beads, wire and accessories needed to make your own. they also have classes once a month to teach you how to do this. they are always willing to help you find certain items and to teach you on the spot if you are having trouble with something. the classes they offer are a nice service for people just starting out with this or wanting to expand what they already know.

this is a museum for motorcycles. it is the only national motorcycle museum in the united states. it always has a wide variety of old bikes and new. some of them are very well known to the general public. if you have been there once its worth a second trip through it since the items on display are rotated out for new ones on a regular basis. some of them are only allowed to be there for a short period of time and then new ones come in to take their place.

this just happens to be a local retail store that also does international business. the retail store has a full line of clothing products along with all the parts and accessories needed for your motorcycle. while you are in town you can also visit the national motorcycle museum. if you have been there once you may want to check this out again since the items on display are rotated on a regular basis. j & p also puts on motorcycle hill climbs during the spring and fall for all to come and see.

this has got to be the best gambling area. there are many things to do at this place. you can choose to bet on the dogs or you can choose to sit at the slot machines. it has a choice of several different priced slot machines to choose from along with poker tables available. there are also several restaurants to visit in the downtown dubuque area to make it worth your while even if you have a short drive to get there.
