Let me first state that my wife and I are fond of Pepitos and we live in the neighborhood. This afternoon we decided to stop in for a late lunch and sit outside being that it was a beautiful day. My wife ordered a Mexican BBQ Pizza... which we have many times in the past. She found it entirely too spicy and could not eat it. I tasted it as well and as I like hot spicy food, this was too much. We told the server about it and after disappearing for at least 10 minutes, she returns and stated that her manager would only authorize a $3 discount, a $10.85 item. Server then stated that there have been alot of complaints lately and they have changed the Pico de Gallo, but still couldn't do anything more about it. We simply told her that this has already dictated the future. We chose not to tip and told her that Pepitos has her $7.85 tip. We will give one of our favorite restaurants a break for at least 8 months to see if anything changes.
