Tri City, according to many who've been around in the area for a while, used to be a great golf course. I've never really enjoyed my experience playing there and find it to be pretty dull and boring. Some of the holes feel like just wide open spaces with a few tee boxes at one end and a green at the other. In contrast, still other holes are long and require proficiency with long irons that many weekend golfers do not possess. Water comes into play on several holes and this is a course that can swallow up a few golf balls. When I have been it has often been crowded and somewhat disorganized, but then again some people love the community feel of the course so I guess it depends on what you're after. A couple positives include the prices which are very fair, and the driving range which in my opinion is easily the best in the county. Range balls are kept in good shape, buckets are cheap, tee areas are on natural grass and the range itself is the grass area of a horse track. When I want to hit a bucket of balls, this course is where I head. When I want to play golf, it's among the last options on the list.

Spanish Oaks is situated at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon and features a front nine in the lower lying valley, and a back nine that is built up the mountain a bit and has more ups and downs. The course isn't bad and is definitely playable, no major problems, greens are manicured nicely and FAST so be careful with the putter. In fact, that's one of my complaints about the course. It seems they've tried to make up for what is a shorter course by making the greens and pin placements incredibly tough. On the back nine it's not uncommon to hit a great approach or a decent lag and watch it roll all the way down the green and off the front. Nobody likes a four-putt but I've had 3 or 4 of only a handful in my life at this course. And if you go anytime in the morning or late afternoon, be ready for some serious wind that can put a damper on the experience. Also, my other complaint is about the price. While this is a respectable course with good facilities, it does not compare favorably with other courses in the area at the same price or even cheaper. Perhaps one positive is that it's usually easy to get a tee time when some other courses in the area are more crowded or full.

Cedar Hills is yet another of the few new courses that have been built in the last few years in Utah County. It is built to feature both mountain golf experiences as well as flatter areas, and the American Fork River winds through the course. The location places it right at the mouth of a beautiful canyon and the views and scenery of this course add to the experience. The course and greens are well-manicured and the management seems committed to making this a quality golf experience. The prices were reasonable relative to other options in the valley. The first hole is a fun one and features a large drop from tee to fairway. On the back nine there are some challenging holes that climb the mountain and then come back down, and the variety in the course is also something that adds to its appeal.

This is a can't miss golf course for Utah residents and out-of-towners alike. It is a public course with fair greens fees/rates, driving range, putting green. But the main appeal for this course is its incomparable natural beauty, winding through Hobble Creek Canyon flanked on both sides by beautiful mountains. Water comes into play on some holes, but generally the fairways are wide open. A stretch of holes on the back nine is the toughest test, but this is overall a course that will not be so challenging as to cause extra levels of frustration. The one downside I've experienced at Hobble Creek is a correlate to its popularity: it can get crowded, especially on weekends. Get a tee time early, and plan some extra time to complete your round. Otherwise, tee off and enjoy.

This is a decent game store in a good location in the Provo Towne Center Mall, but a bit on the smallish side and with limited selection, especially for the game hobbyists and in my case, people interested in European import games. There is an okay selection of these but not great, and there seem to be plenty of the more mainstream American-designed party games and the like. There are also tournaments and game play at tables in the back. It is well organized and I have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Again, as with other game stores, this one has higher prices than what will be found for the same board games online. I have visited this store often and occasionally have found great deals on games marked down.

Games People Play is in my opinion the best local games store in terms of breadth of selection, mostly fair prices, and service. As an admitted boardgame geek it's often hard to find games I'm looking for in game stores, but generally speaking I've had no problem with this one.
For the casual game player, the available selections are plentiful and the store is quite large, featuring play areas for kids, fun displays, and of course the game tables in the rear of the store for tournaments and game groups. My only complaint is not one unique to this store, and has to do with the reality of the price difference between store-bought board games and those purchased online (usually about 10-15 dollars, depending on the game).

East Bay golf course won't wow you with it's landscape or natural beauty, although of course the mountains are in view and provide a nice backdrop. There's water, water, and more water on this course but generally the landing areas are plentiful and the course not overly difficult. The nice thing about this course for me is its location and available practice options. These include three large putting greens with plenty of room for chipping, a sand bunker, a natural grass driving range, and an executive course (par 29) for work on the short irons. My favorite is the back nine which features three par 3s and three par 5s, on a good day you can card a great score on this course. The management is generally good and this last summer was tbe best condition I've seen the course in for quite some time. The location in south Provo is the biggest draw for this good solid public course.

Talons Cove is one of the newest courses in Utah County and is already playing host to a major state tournament. The course is a links style design and includes panoramic views of Utah Lake and the Utah County communities situated across the lake at the benches of the Wasatch mountains. I've yet to find a course with better scenery in all of Utah County. The course would get a perfect rating from me were it not for some evidences here and there of growing pains; give it some time, and I'm sure my rating will increase. Be ready to take on prevailing winds depending on when you play in the day, and make sure you pick which tees to hit from wisely. The tee options, unlike many other courses, actually seem to cover a very broad range of ability thus providing a fun experience no matter how much golf you've played. It didn't take long for me to consider this one of my favorite courses.

The Ranches golf course is a public course with fair to moderate prices relative to other courses in the area. It's a fairly new course that is built among the gentle hills and natural grasslands west of Lehi among new developments in Eagle Mountain. The course features well-groomed fairways and greens and a few memorable holes. It's a course that favors the straight hitter and of course a little extra length doesn't hurt either. The staff are friendly and overall the value for the money is pretty good. However, I'm not a huge fan of a few of the holes and I've heard other golfers share the same opinion. If you're playing the first time, beware of several blind shots either from tees or fairways with hidden trouble, and no course tips or such info on the scorecard to warn you. It's a fun course when you keep it straight, which for the weekend duffer is often difficult. If you hit some left or right, be prepared to spend a long time trudging through long grasses and weeds. Overall, a good course and good links style golf, but far from my favorite.

Tim Rental Center provides very helpful service along with a great selection. The consumer will most likely be able to find whatever tool, accessory, or other items needed for home improvement, moving and packing, and much more.
Our most recent experience with Timp Rental involved renting a moving truck. We were very happy with the condition of the truck and available options to choose from. Also, the checkout process-often long and drawn out at other places--was efficient and did not take long at all.
