Antigone Books has been on 4th avenue for while now. It's been a gem in the desert for books not in the generic bookstores. There are books on spirituality, writing, poetry, gay and lesbian, alternative medicine, you name it. Everyone has always been so helpful to me when I've gone in and no one pushes you to buy when you're there. There are comfy chairs to sit and go over your purchase before buying. Go have a relaxing afternoon browsing and reading!
