This is a great little library. They have computers where you can access the Internet or type up a paper. They offer story time for young children on Wednesdays at 10:30. This is a great activity to take your kids to. They read stories, sing songs, and make crafts. For a small library they have a nice selection of books.

Everyone loves baseball and the Dell Diamond is just a short drive north of Austin. The stadium is very clean and well maintained. The snack bar is a little expensive but that is to be expected at any event. The thing I like best is the fact that they have a kid area where you can take your kids to play when they become restless. They often have things to give to children attending the game, the last time we went my girls received bats.

The prices are a bit high but they have two for one Sundays so this is when I suggest going. I don't suggest taking young children.

Peter Pan Mini-Golf is conveniently located off of Barton Springs Rd. and Lamar. They have two 18 hole courses. This is an older miniature golf course but it is still in good condition and is a great place for some family fun. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Your kids will love it.

After visiting such places as Natural Bridge Caverns, Inner Space Cavern, and Carlsbad Caverns I was diappointed when we visited Wonder World Cave and Park. We took the tour that included the little train ride through the little zoo area, but the tickets were quite expensive for what you got. The tour of the cave was short and there wasn't much to see.

If you are looking for something fun to do with your family you should consider heading over to Westgate Lanes to bowl a couple of games. The bowling alley is very clean and the staff is friendly. When you plan on going be sure to call and make sure they don't have league bowling that night or you will be very disappointed when you can't get a lane.
