I like this small town store. The building has on street free parking out front. It is an old store with big glass display windows. The ceiling is the old style you would find from long ago. There is one man working and he will notice you and get to you in a moment. The turn around time is only a few days. The cost is pretty minimal.

I loved this place! I did not like having to locate a parking spot and then walk back to the location. That is the only draw back. Besides the fact you get carried away when you see all of the gorgeous beads they have. The store is very large. The classroom is quite large at the back of the store. There are some great classes offered for a fee.

This is definately a world class museum as stated on their website. If you are a motorcycle buff, this is a great stop. You can see the cycle by Evil Knevil and Easy Rider there. I liked the Harley leather rocking chair that was made locally.

I have been getting my hair cut at this local beauty shop for almost a year now. I have recommended it to other family members whom really like coming here as well. The prices are pretty low. There is only one person working in this salon. You do need to schedule at least 5 days or more in advance. She is always busy. Very nice. Family friendly. She has her daughter with her most days.

If you get the chance, visit this monastery. The monks here will give you a tour of the abbey. They have postcards and postage stamps for sale from all over the world that are unused. The postcards and stamps are just awesome. The monks are extremely friendly and nice. They will tell you about the history if you want to listen.
The caramels they make here are really good. The monks support themselves by farming and making wooden caskets and urns. This is old-world craftsmanship. They are beautiful pieces of work.

Don’t forget the riverboat museum. The history surrounding Dubuque is very interesting and so many things to see in this museum.
