Shanghai Cuisine
Saturday, August 20, 2005
Wing's Kitchen located in the Chinatown section of Boston is a small mom & pop type restaurant featuring Shanghai Cuisine. There food is renowned for it's richness many of the dishes are braised in a red cooking sauce liquid a tasty mixture of rock sugar star anise and soy boiled down to a shiny glaze. The pork dishes are the best sellers, meaty salty and sweet flavored combination. Feast on the delicacies such as steamed carbmeat & pork buns a very popular street snack of Shanghai, or the soup dumplings dough balls stuffed with pork & crab meat. My first time there I tried the sticky rice dumplings opened faced shumai stuffed with soy soaked rice. Excellent food.
