My sister and I both bought our wedding dresses and veils and my bridesmaids' dresses at the Hostess House. It was a chaotic, disappointing, and frustrating experience for the following reasons: -customer service was terrible (disorganized paperwork system resulting in many mix-ups, staff was rude(after purchases were made), unwilling to fix problems) -alterations were so bad that they could not be fixed, only made to look less bad. -alterations person did not show up for appointment (at all or on time) and did not complete alterations on time -ordered wrong jr. bridesmaid dress in the wrong size, then told us we had to pay for the dress and alterations or order the correct dress that they would not guarantee could be there by the wedding date. -alterations were completed elsewhere for half the price and with better quality -mixed up names on bridesmaids' dresses and caused issues with alterations and had to order 1 new dress. more
