Malibu Castle Golf & Games is not exactly the worst place in the world. It has everything a kid might want and more! It is truly a special place. I personally have had children who have had several birthday parties here and they turned out to be great fun! (Except at one, a little boy peed his pants, that was rather unfortunate.) Mini golf is wicked fun there and my family and I always enjoy it! I come back here year after year and this place never seems to great boring! Truly a jewel!

In my opinion, this isn't the best dance studio around. While the studio itself is pretty nice, the students aren't that impressive. The teachers are average, but it's not the worst dance studio in the world. If you live here, I mean you could totally go here. And, of course, if you are talented, it doesn't really matter if the teachers aren't QUITE as good as those of other dance studios. Overall, this place isn't horrible, but I know of better dance studios in the area.

Cal Berkeley is my favorite university of all time! It offers terrific education to its students and is one of the country's best universities. In fact, Cal is the 16th hardest college to get into in the country. Now that's pretty impressive. Additionally, it is not a private college, so if you live in California, you don't have to pay a ridiculous $30,000 per year like you do for Stanford. To top it all off, the campus is extremely nice and so are the dorms! I definitely recommend this college.

Stanford is a wonderful university! The campus is extremely nice and the university itself is located in a TERRIFIC location. A lot of the students there are extremely smart and there is obviously a lot of competition when it comes to getting into the college, but also within the classes. My only complaint is that the tuition is so expensive--approximately $30,000 a year! Not many people can afford that! However, if you can, and if you get really good grades, I definitely recommend this top-rated university.

My favorite dentist ever! I have been going to him for over a decade and my kids go there too (he is a family dentist). He is nice and all of the nurses there are nice too. I like that we get toothbrushes there every time we go for a cleaning because it can get pretty expensive constantly buying toothbrushes for a family of six. There are nice leather couches in the waiting area and they have magazines to read. I don't really like any of the magazines but my kids like to read Nickolodean while they wait.

Euromart is a store that has lots and lots of Russian food. It is located on El Camino, but it is small, so it is easy to miss. It has salads, meat, fish, bread, and all types of Russian food. Usually only Russian people go there when they are planning a party and don't want to cook. I know some people that go there just to get Russian bread. I like the candy/chocolate that this place has. It is pretty good. The cashiers are okay I guess theyt aren't super helpful but whatever. Oh and they have cheap caviar too.

The Milk Pail Market has a great variety of European foods. While many of the foods are cheap, they are also good. This store mostly sells vegetables and fruit. It also sells some dairy products, including cheeses, milk, etc. It has good, cheap chocolate. Their fruits and vegetables are cheap but are of good quality. They also sell Russian bread. The only thing I don't like about this store is that it is partly outdoors and it is usually crowded and they only have 2 cashiers most of the time (but they don't have room for more anyways).

Castilleja is a wonderful high school for girls! Not only does it do a great job preparing students for college, they have terrific extracurricular activities. This is a top-rated school, so if you live in the area, you should definitely try hard to get your child in! Because trust me, if they get into an Ivy League school because they went here, you know it will be worth your troubles. It costs as much as private univiersities though to attend.

Escondido is a great school to start your child's education. There are many English learners there (compared to other Palo Alto schools), but the teachers there are still great and it is a high-rated school. The campus is nice and pretty big compared to other elementary schools, and students learn a lot! This school is located in a nice location in College Terrace. I definitely recommend this school if you live in the area.

Graham is mediocre, but is getting better. Some of the teachers there aren't the best, and some of the students there aren't the brightest. The principal has done a good job during the past few years turning the school around and it has made great strides. Maybe one day it will be as good as Blach Middle School in Los Altos. I only recommend this school either if your child isn't too bright or concerned with his/her schoolwork or you live in the area.
