This elementary school has quite a lot of English learners. The academics here aren't the greatest. Teachers are alright. Campus isn't the nicest, but it is still pretty good compared to that of average schools. There are quite a lot of kids in each class as well. This school is still better than the average California schools, so really it isn't BAD, but Bubb for example, is better than this school.

This is, without a doubt, NOT one of the best elementary schools in Mountain View. The academics here are horrible! The class sizes in grades 4 and 5 are big--almost 30 students on average! Stay away from this school if you want your child to get a decent education! I recommend Bubb Elementary instead of this one, it is much better than this school.

Overall, this is a good school. The music program here is very impressive. Classes are kind of big though. There is quite a lot of diversity amongst students on campus, but students here generally come from somewhat affluent families. Teachers here are pretty good. Students here are generally smart. The campus isn’t horrible either.

Compared to Saratoga High School, this school is terrible—especially when it comes to academics. The school population is very diverse here. Teachers are pretty good. Class sizes are huge. Campus is alright. This is kind of a bad school though, it is one that can be classified as an “average” California high school (and everyone knows that generally speaking, CA schools suck).

Kennedy High School isn’t the best school in the world. The academics here are very mediocre, even compared to other California schools *gasp*. The student population is very diverse. This is good though because students are familiarized with different cultures and backgrounds. The campus isn't that beautiful, it has its flaws.

Alta Vista is a school basically for kids expelled (or got a suspended expulsion) from Mountain View, Los Altos, or Palo Alto high schools. This school doesn’t exactly have the best academics. The students’ school day ends at around lunchtime. Their temporary campus is hideous. It looks more like a daycare center than anything resembling a school campus. If you live in MV or Los Altos area, you probably wouldn’t voluntarily go to AVHS.

Mission San Jose High School is a good school, especially compared to some of the other schools in Fremont. The academics here are fabulous. A lot of the students that go here are smart and eager to learn. The campus is nice. They have great clubs and activities, in my opinion anyways.

Los Gatos High School is a VERY good high school—one of the best in the Bay Area, in fact. The academics here are terrific. Classes here are average-sized, each has almost thirty students. The teachers here are excellent. The campus is nice, it is not as nice as one of a private school, but still way better than that of "average" California schools.
