If you're looking for a healthy salad, try Pluto's. At Pluto's, you can get a big ol' plate of yummy lettuce, spinach, veggies, topped with chicken or red meat for cheap. Though the salads here are extraordinary, the service is mediocre and there is almost always a line. I wish the place was bigger so you would actually be able to sit down somewhere during the lunch hour. However, this won't be a problem if you get your salad to go

I have been to not one Laser Quest Party. People just love it. Somehow running around with a laser gun and shooting it at anyone that moves is just incredibly exciting! I dont know what happens to me when I go in there, i totally turn into mission mode.
So, basically you run around in the sort of dark, looking for other people. You shoot them in there targets either on their back or front. When you shoot them their gun doesnt work for like 5 seconds. You are in there with other people who are not part of your party. I think it costs something like $12 (ill make sure) for a 15 minute session. At at the end whoever got shot the least snd shot the most people wins. Oh yeah, and you get to choose a code name.

This is really not my favorite bakery in the San Francisco area. You can get way better deals (lower prices) elsewhere. For example go to the Russian Bakery on Geary Boulevard (there things are cheaper and taste better.) I didnt really like the quality of their pastries, they were really just not quiet to my taste. I could basically hear the sugar grinding on my teeth. It was pretty empty and quite so there was lotsof room to sit and chill, but thats about it for the positives.

This is actually an Iranian (IM NOT SURE) store but it also attracks a lot of Russian and Israeli people. They sell all kinds of imported goodies that the people who come from the other side of the world really miss: pickled goods, meats, cheeses, dried fish, jams, candies, cakes, sardines, cookies...the list goes on and on. This place is kind of cheaper for some stuff than buying at Russian stores but it is more expensive than buying in a regular supermarket where things actually go on sale. This is because they have to bring all of this stuff from a really long ways away. Even if you are pure "American" you should still stop buy and check it out. Buy some goodies that you have never seen before. If you have never had caviar,, you need to! They have it for like $14.99 a pound. Also pickled hering is another must- have.

Universal Studios is a really great theme park. It is completly original and completly amazing. I went there for like the 5th time just about less than a month ago and was very happily surprised to see the whole Wisteria Lane of the Desperate Housewives right in front of me on the studio tour. This place is just amazing because you get to see how all of these things that you see in the movie are really made. Of course when you have been there more than once it gets really boring; there are just not enough things to do in the park (I think thats why it is open for only like 8 hours a day, unlike DisneyLAnd, so that the guests dont get bored out of their minds.) They have their new(ish) mummy rollercoaster ride which is incredibly fun and usually doesnt have a very long line. The jurassic park with the drop is always everybody's favorite. The studio tour is the best part of the park because they share some history and show you the actual places of where movies are taped. And now they have the Shrek 4d, where you can extend Shrek and Fiona's adventure by participating yourself. The park is great for any age!

I wouldnt say that that Shiva's is completely authentic Indian Cuisine but its the closest that I will get! Its actually really popular so you definitly need a reservation. The food was really good....

But be careful because some of it is really spicey and if you are touchy about that sort of thing make sure you order the right thing. The atmosphere was really great because of all the really cool decorations. And it starts outside: there are a couple Shiva statues standing outside and you can see that its kind of dark and sort of "candle lit" if you know what I mean. Prices are kind of medium, not too cheap yet still affordable. Great night!

A nice little taste of Italy. I have come here not once because it is so well located right in the middle of everything. My family and I sometimes walk along Castro to find a yummy restaurant to eat at and then we sometimes go here for dessert. Its just a regular little ice cream place complete with tubs, cones, and well...ice cream. But whenever I go here I kind of feel guitly because gelato has like double the sugar and calories of regular ice cream. But its just so good! Prices are a bit higher than regular ice cream but not too bad.

Its really nice to get some yummy pizza that is higher quality than your everyday Dominos or Pizza Hut. You could taste the good quality, however I could also taste the burnt dough. Yes, my pizza actually came to me burnt. But I truly believe that that was an accident that doesnt happen everyday, although I would have appreciated it if they just replaced it for me. The atmosphere was great, the waitresses were very attentive. I also like that its right on Castro, downtown Mountain View. That is actually how I found it since I was just walking along lookig for a good place to sit down and eat at.

Leohmann's is one of my favorite stores. If you're anything like me, you hate paying full price for everything but at the same time you want to have nice things. Leohmann's is a place where you can do that! They get designer clothes, accessories, bags and shoes from other stores and then sell it cheaper. Its kind of like Marshall's but with nicer stuff. They have stuff from good brands like Juicy Catour so the prices are still pretty high sometimes. But its an awesome awesome store and all of my friends go there. You can never walk in there and not see someone I know. Definitly Recommend it. Oh, but returning stuff is hard there: you have 2 weeks to get your full money back or 30 days for store credit.

Savers is not really a place that I go to for my shopping needs but I have been in there and purchased something. It is kind of like Goodwill, except not as nice (well it depends on which Goodwill you go into.) It sells stuff that has been used and donated. Stuff is usually all over the place, there are random dolls (old and ugly so I dont know who would buy them), clothes on the floor, books..... But it IS a good place to go buy some china. I have actually found (and bought!) a really nice Japanese china set there. It depends on what goes into it and how nice it is,b ut usually you could get a whole set for like $70. Also a lot of people wait to buy big things here because often enough they actually have SALES! Yup, I cant reember if it is like half off or buy one get on free, but something like that.
