Galaxy Cinemas, which used to be known as The Madstone, is located near Cary Towne Center Mall. It’s the only place you can normally see independent films in Cary. It has several theatres. They’ve got a small refreshment area (I believe there is free popcorn) so that you won’t go hungry or thirsty while you’re watching. They also offer a membership package for you hardcore indy film fans which gives you discounts and free admissions and other goodies. They have a great selection of films, including foreign language films to attract a wide variety of people. They are located near several cheap restaurants and parking is ample.
