For a Vintage store, I couldn't believe how clean all of the items were(and how new the smelled). Most vintage stores have this wierd odor to it but when you shop here, you feel like you are shopping in a boutique. There are a lot of button up shirts if that is your thing with a variety of patterns but you can buy pants as well. The items will be pricy but you won't be infected by some weird clothing bacteria.

On any given day, after school of course, you can find kids break dancing inside or surfing the web. Then, they can munch of a meal there for a pretty good price as well. Since it is run by Harmonium, you'll always see kids working there weather it is behind the counter at the cafe or in the record store. Then at nights, the center turns an All-age venue that fits around 600 kids. You might not get the best acts in the world but you'll rarely find a concert ticket to be over 12 bucks. This seems to be the hang out for many Mira Mesa kids. Rocker and Hip Hop

At 11 dollars for a Chinese Buffet dinner, you don't get any better than this. There seems to be almost an endless amount of item possibilies and you can even get stir fry here (done right in front of your face with a wok). If you sushi is your thing, although it's not even chinese, you can get it here as well. But beware, if you arn't ready to wait at least half an hour for a table, don't even consider coming here. It's always crowded but thats the price you must pay for a bargain.

If you don't like paying corporate giants like Kinko's, the Copy Club is Scripps Ranch is a good place to go. The rates are mediocre but you can get a really good deal if you need a lot of copies. There are never any real big lines and the customer service is great. The best part about the store is that it is open 24 hours a day to suite your needs.

It's very strange that a surf shop is located on Balboa but that is one of the reasons why Clairmont Surf shop is so cool. They also have a member ship card for 5 - 10 bucks which makes everything a lot cheaper. The fee also came with a shirt but i dont know if it still does. The selection is pretty good and it's a local company. If surfing is not your thing, the skateboard apparel and hardware selection is pretty good too.

Prior to the opening of this store. All the kids use to flock toward Sombrero's after school. Now, it's all about Chile Peppers. While the food may not be at the top of its game or not as authentic, the majority of people are driven on by their insanely good California burrito (fresca, fries, cheese, beef) The plasma tv stuck to the wall is kinda cool but they always have the wrong shows on. Don't forget about the hot sauce. It is a must have.

I don't know why people don't like this place. This is what San diego is all about. Carefree experiences at beach while teaching a fatty piece of cotton candy. The attractions are mediocre but what do you expect from Belmont? It's not Santa Monica by any comparison. If you do choose go to to Belmont, you most rust the Giant Dipper, coolest coaster in San diego. Nothing to big or crazy but it's so fun. Then after you are done exploring the park, you can walk a few feet and hit the board walk for a nice stroll. A great place for the family.
