If you crave ice cream, Mitchell's is another hot spot you have to hit in the city. Their exotic flavors will below you away: Taro, Mango, Lychee, Durian, etc. Highly recommended. My favorites are their seasonal flavors, cantaloupe, honeydew, etc. The best time is summer when all the juicy fruits are out. They're usually fair busy even on a chilly day. Another convenience is that you can get their ice cream in the markets. Access to parking is easy. Definitely stop by for a treat!

When in the mood for ice cream, head to Polly Ann's in the Sunset. Tons of flavors to choose from, there's even a wheel to spin if you can't decide. A kids (and adults) dream with dessert, candy, drinks, etc. Some of these creative flavors have some crazy names. They've added a few seats which makes it easier to enjoy your dessert, they use to be standing room only. There's always the convenience of buying their stuff in the markets too. Always a treat to head to this quaint little shop.

Tons of choices from rolls, sashimi, bento boxes, etc. These aren't your average sized rolls either, they're fairly large. They're always coming out with new rolls. Food is alway fresh and flavorful. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and just an overall fun restaurant. The sushi boat area can get a bit busy so head there before or after the dinner time rush. Definitely a must try if you're in the area. Decent parking considering they're in the downtown area.

Their cold noodles and rice dishes are excellent too. They also have a wide variety of beverages from specialty drinks to sodas to bubble drinks. Plenty of parking and plenty of available tables. Convenient and easy for a quick bite (especially if your shopping at the 99 Market)! Recommend!

There are way too many to choose from therefore, more trips to this restaurant! It's a full meal with soup, a cucumber salad, egg roll, entree and dessert! Plenty of parking available. Servers and helpful and kind. Food appears promptly. Definitely a must try if you've never been here! Highly recommended!

Family menus are the way to go as you get a little of everything at a great price. 2 floors of tables are available despite the place being a bit small. Good service and the food comes quickly. Parking is decent but you may have to circle a bit. My favs are the seafood dishes: walnut prawns, fresh steamed fish, clams etc. A little stuffy inside as there are no windows on the bottom floor. Definitely try it out!

An excellent choice for a burrito in the Sunset. It's one of my favorite Mexican quick fixes. Prices are super low, great food, and friendly service. Their selection is decent and definitely worth a trip there. There is a small row of seating in the restaurant so most of their business is take out. You'll have to double park when picking up your food but they work fairly fast so you'll be out of their in no time. Definitely try it out if you're in the area. They're not open Sundays though. The bronco burritos are my fav as well as the cancun (shrimp) burrito.

Went there for dinner the other day. Porridge King's specialty is definitely NOT porridge (in my opinion). I found it be lacking in texture and flavor. Not many porridge restaurants around be will definitely not go back just for the porridge. Their other dishes were decent. The fried rice was flavorful and the chow fun noodles was good. Albeit, a little pricey for chinese food. They have a BBQ take out section also. Seating was quick as there seems to be a high turnover. Noisy atmosphere, and the wait staff was a bit abrupt. Will think twice about trying it again.

We go to this place occcasionally when we want something quick and easy. The prices are super low and you get a lot of food for your money. Ample parking and your stuffs ready in 10-15 minutes. Although we usually take out they have decent amount of seating and there's always a few table taken. My favorites are the Westlake soup, fried rice and their dry soft noodles with gravy. Definitely a place to take out and enjoy with a movie!

This little restaurant is great. They serve American / Chinese cuisine. The only reason I would know about this place is that I live nearby. Great prices, great food, plenty of parking, good service. A few months back I had a party thrown there and was happy with everything. Tons of food from soups, noodles, rice dishes, seafood, beef, chicken, veggies, etc as well as burgers, sandwiches & salads, but note I have never tried their american fare.
