I have been to the Melting Pot on several occassions. It's one of those places that you save up for a special night out or for a rare visit. My first visit was on my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and experienced, anticipating your every need and offering the best this restaurant has to offer. Eating a 4 course meal has you rolling on your way out but it is oh so good. I highly recommend the traditional swiss fondue and the chocolate dessert. You really can't go wrong with anything you order in this place as it is all very good. I would also start off with a white chocolate martini!

My husband and I were on the search for the perfect crib when we came across Crismon's Baby Boutique. It's a small store with limited hours of operation but it has a huge selection of cribs. We went throught the entire selection, shaking each and every one. It was important to my husband that our baby have the sturdiest crib possible. They had the style and color we wanted in stock and even had the mattress we were interested in. The front of the store has a great selection of dress-up clothes...those adorable little smocked dresses in pretty pastels.

I had visited Babies R Us plenty of times to buy shower gifts before I was ever pregnant. The first time I walked in to the store after I learned of my pregnancy, I was completely overwhelmed. The store is the size of a football field and has rows and rows of items like strollers, car seats, highchairs, etc. How in the world would I ever know what to register for. Now in hindsight, I am so glad to have had so many choices. Yes, there are a lot of options but I have found I enjoy having the options. The pricing is fairly competitive as well. It's not as inexpensive as some of the other chain stores but I'd say the pricing is pretty fair. I've been to some smaller stores where the prices are outrageous. The nice thing about Babies R Us is that everything you need is in one location and that's important when you're pregnant and don't have a lot of time to run around.

My husband and I have had several experiences with Solid Earth and still have mixed feelings regarding them. Our first encounter with them began over a year ago when planning the front landscaping for our newly built home. Things went pretty smoothly but getting the job done took a lot longer than expected. We had difficulty communicating between customer service and the workers. But when the job was done, the landscaping was beautifully done. We then began working on a plan for our back yard landscaping. We met with a designer and picked out patio materials, features and plants for the back yard. We then waited several weeks before hearing from someone and when we finally received the design, it was incorrect. My husband told them of the correction and we waited several more weeks for a response. There was no pricing and we have heard nothing from them as of today. We now plan to go with another company.

My husband and I moved to Gilbert in March of 2004. At that time we were attending a church in Mesa. After about a year of making the commute and during that time, having a baby, it began to wear on us. We wanted to be more involved with our church and just felt we couldn't be due to the distance. We began looking in our area and really wanted to attend a church that was somewhat established (versus a starter church still meeting in a school auditorium). We visited Superstition Springs Community Church and immediately felt welcomed there. The people are very friendly, the messages are awesome...from the Bible yet applicable to today, the atmosphere is very welcoming with a cafe set up with coffee and donuts and such for between, before or after services. We feel this church will be our new home.

My husband and I have always enjoyed the casual yet friendly setting of Barro's pizza. It's the kind of place where you can go last minute on a Friday night or for a casual get-together on the weekend or even for a nice place to hold a small party. Our favorite by far is the Barbecue chicken pizza. At first, being a little timid to try something new, but then loving the combination of barbecue sauce, gouda cheese and grilled chicken. It really is a great combination of tastes and flavors and one that is good over and over again.

Being from Chicago, naturally my husband and I gravitate towards Chicago fare. We were very please when we moved to Gilbert and learned of a Rosati's pizza nearby. My husband had delieverd for them in the Chicago area and I grew up having Friday night pizza night from them. We were both very excited to be able to order Rosati's on a regular basis which we do. A thin crust well-done pizza is the best in my opinion with bacon and black or green olives. But the sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms are just as good. Basically, anything you order from Rosati's will be a winner!

What a great concept! A make-believe town for kids where kids can dress up and play. I just recently visited and while my daughter is too young to really enjoy it at her current age (under a year), I can see us frequenting more in the future. And especially on a hot summer day when it's just too much to be outside.

When choosing a pediatrician last year, I really had no one to ask for a referral in my area. I wound up doing a search on the AAP web site and cross-referencing those individuals with the ones accepted by my husbands insurance company. Now I feel as though I lucked out by my choice of Dr. Sharon Strong who works out of East Valley Pediatrics. She has been very helpful, patient and put my mind at ease plenty of times. I strongly recommend her to any one.
