The Chelsea Market

Saturday, April 22, 2006
Chelsea Market is a one stop culinary experience that could only be in New York City. It's a HUGE indoor arcade style food market on 16th Street. A true food lovers paradise. This market includes a wide variety of gourmet offerings including but not limited to fruits/vegetables, ethnic food (Thai, Japanese, etc.) fresh meat, fish and seafood, bakeries, chocolate, cheese and wine. You can sit down in one of the market's wonderful restaurants or take your food back to your office or home. Try a croissant from the French Oven, or sushi from Morimoto. A Fat Witch brownie makes a great afternoon snack! Take some flowers home to a significant other from the flower market if you want to make a spectacular impression. The Food Network tapes some shows here so there's usually a buzz of some type. Rock on.
